Mango Salsa

Spice up your taco tuesdays with this mango salsa! You only need 5 ingredients to make this delicious summer salsa: mango, red onions, jalapeno, cilantro, and lime juice! (the spices don’t count.) The mango salsa is perfect for an appetizer with tortilla chips or would go well with tacos, nachos, quesadillas and more!

Here are a few extra tips! Use an unripe mango so the flesh is more firm and less sweet. This will make it easier to dice the mango. The unripe mango should be more yellow in color than orange. Also, using a chopper helps diced all the ingredients in the same size and speeds up the prep process.

Ingredients

  • 1 unripe mango peeled, and diced
  • 1/4 red onion diced
  • 1 jalapeno diced
  • 3 tsp chopped cilantro
  • 1 tsp lime or lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Mix all of the ingredients together.
  • Enjoy!
